  • 1kg – Puffed rice flakes (mamra)
  • 400g – Corn flacks (makai poha)
  • 400g – Rice corn (chokha pava)
  • 400g – Groundnuts
  • 400g – Chickpea (dalia)
  • 50g – Dry red chilly (Suka marcha)
  • 100g – Salt
  • 400g – Sugar powder
  • 30g – Curry leaves
  • 400g – Oil
  • 30g – Mustard seed (rai)
  • 25g – Cumin seed (jeera)
  • 35g – Turmeric powder
  • 40g – Chilly powder
  • 40g – Jeera powder
  • 15g – Garam masala


  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Mix Chevdo.

  2. Heat oil & fry groundnut till it cracks.
  3. Then fry chickpea.
  4. Then fry corn flacks.
  5. Then fry rice corn.
  6. Then fry red chilly.
  7. Then fry curry leaves.
  8. In deep Kadai add puffed rice flakes, groundnuts, chickpea, corn flacks, rice corn, dry red chilly & curry leaves mix well.

  9. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed let it crackle then add cumin seed let it crackle. Off the flame
  10. Then add turmeric powder, chilly powder, jeera powder, garam masala.
  11. Add this fry, sugar & salt in Kadai, mix well.
  12. Serve or store in an airtight jar.
