Mung-dal Khichdi

Ingredients

  • 100g – Mung dal
  • 100g – Rice
  • 900g – Water
  • 10g – Salt
  • 20g – Ghee
  • 1g/1 pinch – Turmeric powder

Procedure

  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Khichdi.
  2. Keep tapeli on gas & boil water.
  3. After boiling water add mung dal, rice, turmeric powder, salt.
  4. Keep plate on tapeli with half of water(not drinkable).
  5. After 10-15 min check mung dal whether it is cooked or not. After khichdi cooks add ghee.
  6. Serve hot.
