Farali Dhokla

Ingredients

  • 800g – Samba
  • 200g – Sabudana
  • 250g – Grated carrot
  • 250g – Fine shredded cabbage
  • 250g – Fine shredded capsicum
  • 100g – Chilly paste
  • 50g – Ginger paste
  • 200g – Curd
  • 40g – Salt
  • 40g – Sugar
  • 100g – Oil
  • 6g – Soda

Procedure

  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Farali Dhokla.
  2. Soak samba & sabudana for 2-3 hrs.
  3. Then grind samba & sabudana(Don’t use water for grinding).
  4. Then in a bowl add that batter, grated carrot, fine shredded cabbage, fine shredded capsicum, chilly paste, ginger paste, curd.
  5. Keep it for fermentation for 7-8 hrs.
  6. Then keep a bowl for steaming the dhokla.
  7.  Then add leftout of ingredients.
  8. In a plate Spread some oil & add dhokla batter.
  9. Keep in a bowl. Steam for 15 min.
  10. Then take out & keep it side for cooling.
  11. Then cut into pieces.
  12. Serve.
