Ingredients

  • 1kg – Bhakhri flour
  • 400g – Ghee or as required
  • 300g – Grated jaggery
  • 100g – Sugar powder
  • 10g – Fennel seed (saunf)
  • 10g – Cardamom
  • Coconut powder/milk masala for spread
Note : –
  1. You can add ghee for saute because at all place flour are not same.

Procedure

  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Sukhdi.
  2. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan.
  3. Add bhakhri flour and saute on a medium heat till it turns golden brown in colour.
  4. Add fennel seed (saunf), mix well & off the flame.
  5. After 10-15 min add jaggery & mix well.
  6. Than add sugar powder & cardamom, mix well.
  7. Pour into the greased tray and spread 1.5 cm evenly. Then sprinkle coconut powder/milk masala.
  8. Cut into diamond or square pieces.
  9. Serve or store in airtight jar.
