Ingredients

  • 1kg – Rice
  • 500g – Semolina (rava)
  • 1ltr – Water
  • 250g – Curd
  • 85g – Sesame seed
  • 30g – Ghee
  • 30g – Chilly paste
  • 30g – Ginger
  • 3g – Turmeric powder
  • 50g – Chilly powder
  • 50g – Salt

Procedure

  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Chakli (chakri).
  2. Heat water in pan/tapeli.
  3. After water boils add salt & ghee.
  4. Then add rava.
  5. Saute till it becomes tight.
  6. Take in a bowl.
  7. Add all masala.
  8. Then add rice flour.
  9. Add curd.
  10. Make smooth dough.
  11. Grease oil on chakli machine.
  12. Fill chakli masala in chakli machine.
  13. Make chakri on any butter paper/plate. Press the starting part.
  14. Make more at once. Press the ending part at last.
  15. Saute till golden & crisp on high flame.
  16. Take out from oil & keep on paper.
  17. Spread chat masala.
  18. Keep on paper till it cool down.
  19. Serve.
