Badam Pak

Ingredients

  • 1kg – Almonds (badam)
  • 750g – Sugar
  • 200g – Water (burn – 50g)
  • 100g – Ghee
  • 10g – Cardamom powder

Procedure

  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Badam pak.
  2. Grind the almonds resembles breadcrumbs.
  3. Sieve  grinded badam.
  4. Cook together water and sugar to make a syrup. After cooking syrup burn 20 g water.
  5. Then add ghee & cardamom.
  6. Then add grinded almonds into syrup mix well. Keep it side till it become tight not to much.
  7. Grease an aluminium tray. Pour into the greased tray and spread 2 cm evenly.
  8. Cut into pieces.
  9. Serve.
