Dudhi Ka Halwa

Ingredients

  • 1kg – Grated dudhi
  • 2ltr – milk
  • 50g – Ghee
  • 300g – Sugar
  • 10g – Cardamom
  • 50g – Almonds
  • 50g – Cashew nut
  • 50g – Raisins
OPTIONAL
  • Green colour as required
Note:-
  • Press grated dhudhi & take out water.

Procedure

  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Dudhi ka halwa.
  2. Heat milk in a deep kadai. After boiling milk add grated dudhi (stir continuously).
  3. Once milk boils then add grated dhudhi.
  4. Then add sugar.
  5. Then add ghee.
  6. After it’s consistency become tight (not more) then add almonds, cashew nuts, afghan raisins & cardamom powder. Mix well.
  7. Then add colour & mix well.
  8. Spread in kadai to cool.
  9. Serve or store at dry place for 6-7 days.
