Ingredients

  • 500g  – Salted ghathiya (in ghathiya don’t use soda)
  • 3ltr – Water
  • 100g – Oil
  • 50g – Sambhar masala
  • 20g – Mustard seed
  • 10g – Cumin seed
  • 10g – Turmeric powder
  • 15g – Coriander powder
  • 250g – Butter milk (150g – curd + 100g – water)
  • 35g – Salt
  • 20g – Sugar

Procedure

  1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready for the Ghathiya Sabji.
  2. Heat oil splutter mustard seed & cumin seed.
  3. Add turmeric powder, salt, sugar & sambhar masala. Saute for 1 min.
  4. Then dhania powder. Saute for 1min.
  5. Add water.
  6. Wait for boiling.
  7. Then add ghathiya & coriander leaves.
  8. After it boils once, off the flame.
  9. Serve hot.
